The ICARUS project provides innovative solutions for the following three main SAF production routes including increased and sustainable biomass supply, cutting edge technological developments, and techno-economic, environmental, and social assessments throughout the entire value chains.
The ICARUS project is coordinated by the Centre For Renewable Energy Sources And Saving Fondation (CRES) and involves 20 renowned partners including five partners from Mission Innovation (MI) countries Canada, India and Brazil.
The ICARUS Kick-off Meeting took place on 30 - 31 October 2023 in Crete, Greece and served to establish a common understanding of project objectives and activities as well as to agree upon project implementation methodologies and timelines.
